Allegra McEvedy has a come long way since being expelled from school, so far in fact that she will be talking to Vic Goddard, the headmaster of Passmores School which has been dissected for Channel 4's new documentary series 'Educating Essex'.
Bringing his 'old school' and Motown musical charm is Michael Kiwanuka with the title track from his recently released EP, 'I'm Getting Ready'. Also performing will be David J. Roch on acoustic guitar with soaring vocals and the haunting melody of his next single 'Hour of Need'.

Mark Radcliffe looks back at the life and career of comic Norman Evans.
Like his more famous counterpart and mentor, Gracie Fields, Norman was born and brought up in Rochdale, where he worked as a travelling salesman before his talent for comic speeches was spotted and he took to the stage.
His genius for observing the "humour of everyday life" led to his most famous sketch show - "Over The Garden Wall" – playing a northern housewife plagued by "women's troubles" and "him at home". While Evans is less famous now, he paved the way for later comedians like Les Dawson.

Round The Horne was born out of the demise of BBC radio comedy Beyond Our Ken, after the end of writer Eric Merriman's involvement. Using the same cast and producer, Barry Took and Marty Feldman were persuaded to write the scripts - which led to four series that ran between 1965 and 1968 - packed full of parodies, recurring characters, catchphrases and double-entendres.

In this episode the future of the shop's much loved Wall of Crisps comes under threat after someone from the EU visits the shop. The wall is contravening European Crisp regulations by stocking corn and maize based snacks alongside potato based 'crisps' and has to be dismantled which causes outrage amongst the Lenzidens.

They inhabited a sophisticated world of chilled cocktails and fast cars, where the women were chic and the men wore cravats - a world where Sir Graham Forbes, of Scotland Yard, usually needed Paul's help with his latest tricky case.
